May was a month of fun. We had lots of rain and didn't get to go outside a whole lot, but we had some outings anyhow. We had a picnic in our van since we couldn't go outside. There were some sunny days where we could outside, though.


We went to the train museum several times. The boys love to pretend to drive the train and watch the model trains go around.



Ali is getting bigger and taking baths in the big tub now. She loves to splash the water and looks so cute in her little robe when she is done. She is lovable and sweet. Still no teeth, but she chews on everything. We hope there are some teeth in there that will come out someday :). Her hair sticks out everywhere and is so cute! She's a good eater and oh-so much fun!







For an early birthday present, Grandpa and Grandma Hillstead came and built us a square foot garden and a sandbox for the boys. I haven't had too much success with gardening in pots in the past, so I hope this year things go a little better. Here are some pictures of the empty garden and then after we planted. Nathan was a good helper making the grid, planting, and watering. We planted some transplants and some seeds and we are starting to see the plants grow. It's very exciting to see.






Nathan graduated from Preschool. He did a great job on his parts. He spoke clearly and said them just right. He was a little shy to sit up front at, but after the first few minutes I was able to go sit back down with the family and watch. Both sets of Grandparents came to see him. He looked cute in his cap and gown.




On Saturday, May 29 we went to Heber City to see Thomas the Train. The boys LOVED it! We got to ride the train that Thomas was pulling, play games (including miniature golf), play with trains, get temporary Thomas tattoos, and see Thomas. The boys also got some balloon animals: a snake for Aaron and a butterfly for Nathan.

Aaron loved every minute of it. He didn't want to leave. He had been saying in his prayers every day, "please bless we go to Thomas the Train today." He still says it. That little guy just loves trains!

End of April

Here are a few of the things we did in April:

Nathan played soccer. He had a lot of fun. He was a fast runner and enjoyed watching his shadow as he cruised down the soccer field. Aaron wanted to play, too, and Ali slept through most of his games.





Went to St. George from Grandpa Pendleton's 80th birthday.





Went to the zoo with Grandma and Grandpa Hillstead. Nathan even got to feed the giraffe! The train ride was Aaron's favorite. Ali just enjoyed being held and walked around in the sunshine.
