President's Day Weekend in Lyman

We spent the weekend in Lyman with the whole family. David and Kara and their boys and Alan and Carmen and their boys, and Ryan and I and our boys - we had a houseful of boys - all came up for the weekend. Mom and Dad had some fun things planned and we enjoyed spending time up there. The littler boys enjoyed playing with each other and singing songs with all of Grandma's instruments. The older boys played ping pong and basketball and we all enjoyed the time in the mountains with the snowmobile and sleds. It was fun to see the cousins play together and get to know each other better. Nathan liked bugging Michael and Kadyn perhaps a little too much, but they were good to him. Every time Nathan would see Michael he would say, "Michael, Michael" and Michael would say "Nathan, Nathan." They would go back and forth a few times and Nathan laughed and loved it!

We also were able to all be there for Peyton's baby blessing in church on Sunday. Alan gave him a beautiful blessing and it was fun to be with all of our family for that special occasion. Grandma and Grandpa Pendleton and Uncle Rob and Aunt Becky and their girls, Teri and Jami, were all there as well. We ate well afterwards, too, like usual when we head to Wyoming :)! I'm posting a ton of pictures with this entry because they say it so much better then I can. I've grouped them according to activity, but the most pictures are from our day in the mountain.

Aaron's second little tooth poked through today, so no more fingers in his mouth! It hurts if he bites ;)! He has been amazingly pleasant for getting two new teeth, being carted around to the mountains, being switched to sleeping in his car seat in the middle of the night so Nathan could get some sleep in the pack and play, and being off of his normal routine for four days. I can't believe what a truly angel baby he is. He had so much fun this past weekend and would laugh and laugh at his cousins. It was a lot of fun to see him responding more and interacting with all of these cousins who just adore him like his brother does.

First Tooth

Aaron has been drooling up a storm for months it seems, but this morning, I finally felt his first little tooth poke through. Yesterday he was pretty fussy and had a hard time settling down for his nap. I didn't feel a tooth then, but today when he started getting fussy again at about the same time and couldn't settle down, I felt in his little mouth, and sure enough, there was a little tooth poking through. It's on the bottom left. The right one looks close to popping through soon, too. He's doing well and I can't wait to see his toothy grins!

Sitting Up

Aaron is learning how to sit up. He can sit for a few seconds without any help. Of course, a few seconds is all he gets with Nathan around. He is getting so big and interacting more.



Grandma Taylor came over to babysit last night while Ryan and I went to a late birthday/early Valentine's Day dinner. When she came she brought Valentine's cards and gifts for the boys. She brought Nathan Woody and Jessie dolls which he loves! He loves Toy Story 2 and has been playing with them ever since. He took them to bed last night and with him for his nap today. He likes to share with Aaron, too, so I got these shots of them in their pj's this morning playing with Woody and Jessie. Aaron just likes to chew on them, and Nathan spends most of his time trying to get the hats to stay on. It's very cute to watch. Nathan is getting more of an imagination and likes to play with his little Mickey Mouse, Goofy and other figure toys. They help him clean and all sorts of things.
