OhMy's Wedding!

Yesterday Kristen and Duke were married in the Salt Lake Temple. It was a gorgeous day and we are so happy for Kristen and Duke.

Before we went over to the wedding we visited Ryan's office and showed off our cute kids. They didn't have their jackets and ties on yet, but still looked adorable. Nathan and Aaron loved looking out of Daddy's window and watching the diggers and workers across the street. Everyone there thought they were cute, albeit a little loud.

We went over the temple and Ryan's cousin, Amy, was kind enough to stay with the little boys in the waiting room during the sealing. They all were alive and well when we returned - we were most concerned about Amy. Aaron loved Amy. He thought her jewelry was fascinating and gave her lots of cute smiles. Thank you, Amy! You have a new little friend :).


The little guys all had suits - Nathan, Aaron, Kyle, and Luke as well as Duke's nephews McKay and Connor. They all looked so cute and actually did quite well with them on. It didn't hinder their play at all. Nathan and Aaron were running around and having a great time. We did manage to get them to sit still for a few pictures.







This is a fun picture of Kristen and her little nephews. She now has two more nephews. OhMy and Duke are both so good to their nephews- it's fun to see them together here- especially looking so snazzy!


Aaron was a little trooper. He was so tired by the end of the day, but this ice cream helped him get his second wind. He and Nathan both fell into exhausted sleep on the way home. We were proud of them and are glad we got to spend the day together with family and loved ones to celebrate with Kristen and Duke.

November Happenings

We have had a good month so far. It has gone by way too fast, though. We are already halfway through and all the big events that seemed so far away are here - OhMy is getting married this week, Thanksgiving is a little over a week away and Christmas is just around the corner. My goal this year is to RELAX and ENJOY this holiday season and all that goes with it. I'll report back on how well I do!

Here are some fun pictures from the last couple of weeks. We haven't had any major events, but some fun everyday moments and few bumps - actually one rather large bump (see pictures below).

I made popcorn and Nathan wanted to pick his own bowl to eat the popcorn out of. He chose the pitcher. He had about 10 popped kernels of popcorn at the bottom and was pretty proud of himself for choosing and eating out of such a big pitcher.

After sweeping the floor, Nathan started using the broom for his exercises. He was lifting it above his head and told us he was doing his exercises. We watch the Biggest Loser and I think that's where he has seen it because I sure don't lift weights like that!

Aaron just wanted to get in on the act and started pulling the broom. He thought it was a fun game. He's getting to be so big and interacts so much more when he plays. He likes to be chased and gets excited and just giggles and giggles and runs away.
Last Sunday we had Stake Conference and actually had naps. Well, I did, and Nathan fell asleep on the bed, too. After I got up, he was still out, hunched up and completely out.

The Little Guys like for Dad to "make a tunnel" and then they crawl through or just hide underneath him. They also like to hide in their tent, under the table, and in our bathroom under the vanity. They think they are well-hidden and laugh and giggle when I find them.


Here's Aaron's big bump. It almost looks like he has an extra nose. We were over at the park and he was trying to chase a cat underneath the bench they have over there. His little foot slipped and he hit the bench right on the bridge of his nose. It's still kind of bumped and bruised, but he is looking much better. I tried to put ice on it, but he wasn't too helpful and I could only hold it on for a few moments at a time. He seems fine, though, so hopefully he won't have two black eyes for the wedding on Thursday.

Halloween 2008

This year for Halloween Nathan was a fireman and Aaron was a purple dragon. They both looked so cute. The pictures really don't do them justice. I didn't get very many good shots this year it looks like. We had a Halloween Carnival at the church on Tuesday and then we had our annual Trunk-or-Treat in our neighborhood on Halloween. Nathan was very good at saying "Trick-or-Treat" and "thank-you" after he got the candy. About halfway through he told me, "I have lots of candy, now I can eat it." Aaron was happy to mosey along with us, especially after I gave him a sucker to eat.

After the Trunk-or-Treat we went to Grandma & Grandpa Taylor's house. Nathan liked to help open the door and pass out candy to the trick-or-treaters who came to their house and was very excited once Buzz Lightyear (Kyle) and Luke the Cowboy came.
