Lagoon

We spent the evening at Lagoon on July 9. Nathan has never been on any amusement park rides, so we were wondering how he would do. We put him on a couple alone and he remained pretty straight-faced the entire time, but when the ride was done he would clap or say "more" so we figured he liked it. He even liked the ones that went pretty fast and kind of up and down. When Kyle got there they rode some rides together. We also saw a bit of the singing show performed. He would clap his hands at the end of the song. Here are the pictures we took.

Fighter Planes - "more"

Helicopter Ride - Saying "hi" as he passes by.

Speedway

Boats

Red Baron Airplanes

Train Ride with the Whole Family

Dinner Time - Fries

Clapping for the Songs

"Cheese!"

Independence Day Festivities

We had a busy 4th of July. We had breakfast at Grandma & Grandpa Taylor's and then headed over to the Kaysville parade. We all were tired after that and came home and napped. Then we had a BBQ that evening as well. It was a lot of fun, but definitely a full day. Here are some pictures of Nathan's first 4th of July parade. The only other parade he has experienced was last year's Pioneer Day parade in Lyman. He was in the parade that time, though, so watching was a new experience. He clapped as the parade passed and seemed to enjoy it.

Fun Pictures

These are some recent pictures of Nathan of what I get to see during the day when no one else is around. He does cute things a lot and sometimes I'm lucky enough to get my camera out before he's done.

Reading the Paper with Breakfast

Sometimes I let Nathan eat breakfast at the big table. He stands up to eat his cereal. Here he is reading the paper as he enjoys his cereal.

Itsy Bitsy Spider

Nathan likes to sing songs. He has a toy dog that plays different songs. He is trying to do the actions to Itsy-Bitsy spider. He also really likes "3 Little Monkeys Swinging in a Tree..." especially where the alligator "snaps that monkey right out of that tree."

Trying On Shoes

Nathan usually brings me my shoes when we are ready to go outside, but this day, he decided to put them on. He slipped his little feet inside and looked so cute standing there. He even shuffled along for a couple of steps.

Sleeping with Oliver

Sometimes Nathan just cuddles up with one of his stuffed animals. He looks so sweet when he his cuddled up. This is his dog Oliver.

Pudding - Mmm, Mmm

Nathan loves pudding. It gets all over his face, but that doesn't stop his smile.

Sleep

When Nathan wants to lay down for rest, or just get up on our bed, he leans his head to the side. He does it when he sees babies sleeping with a blanket, too.
